In the middle of the city, in a small square named after an island and with the soul of a neighborhood, stands Faial. Originally built in 1914, this building faces the Cesário Verde Garden, in a setting that combines lush vegetation, light, and Portuguese cobblestone streets.
Carefully renovated, it has retained its original structure. A period building with a redesigned interior, replaced window frames, and a refurbished façade.
The best detail of the entire project is at the rear: original marquees running from end to end, where a glass of wine before dinner tastes better, where you can play a game of soccer, or where you can start your next book club.
Between Saldanha, Dona Estefânia, and Areeiro, Faial is for those who like to feel surrounded by nature, but with all the perks of the city. Because the first thing you see from the window is the green of the trees, and it's the last thing you forget. Living near a quiet square, but full of life. A classic that doesn't smell of mold, the building overlooks Lisbon and its roots.
