Building

With the most fantastic facade, fully tiled, this imposing building enjoys an incredible 180º view of the Tagus River. Dated from the first half of the 19th century, it stands out from the other surrounding buildings. Initially it was built for collective housing and over the years the apartments were being adapted for many other purposes. It consists of a six storey-building, with 11 apartments, 1 store and 1 restaurant. All the common areas are identic to the original, having been restored the main features.

Project development

• It took 8 months to restore this building, in late 2014 / early 2015, and the works were executed by Flores Gomes.
• An elevator was installed, the stairwell and all common areas were recovered, the roof and structural elements were checked and the window frames and infrastructures networks were updated.
• The sales of the apartments took place in 2015, and 11 units were sold, all before renovations. The restaurant unit is still Reabilita’s property, and is currently rented.
